Spock... need I even say anymore? But I have had LOTS of questions as to why, etc, so let me explain...This was a school project. We were first asked to do a black and white version of our chosen image. Obviously I chose Spock. Then we were asked to add at least 1 color to it, still using the black and white. Spock demands blue, not red, orange or green, BLUE and dark blue at that. Next we were asked to use MANY colors (top left) without any black or white, this time Spock needed, blues, greens, and purples. Finally with color we were asked to create a Bezold effect, using the same colors as the multi colored version, but replacing them in an order that would drastically change the original image. I think by changing the face to all pastel colors, which removed the strong shadow, eliminated the feel and 'color' of the original image. The last loner design was a pattern design. We were asked to use all patterns for the entire image. I have a few versions of this as I liked a version better that didn't completely meet the parameters of the assignment. This is the one I turned in. The pattern in the eye is the map of the Federation of Planets ;) and the rest of him is 'built' with metal patterns so he is my own personal 'robot'
