Lori Whitlock Christmas Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the blog hop. You should be coming from Joy's blog at Joy's Life.  If you need help finding others, click on the names on the list below. Your next step is Mendi, but before you leave, let me share with you a little bit of Christmas. I know it is early, but if I don't plan this early, it just wont get done.
My kids and I have been talking about doing a "12 Days of Christmas" but haven't quite narrowed it down to the whom yet. I created these bags so we are ready to go, just need to add info such as a rhyme and info on the bag and of course pick a family. I knew I needed it to be easy to add to as we collect things for it this next month so the bag was perfect. I plan to write a poem/rhyme for each day and add it inside the bag with the goodie, or just write the rhyme with a sharpie on the bag. It all depends how ambitious I am that day. The hardest part was choosing the shapes I used. It went together really fast and my daughter and I had a great time working together. I wish Christmas was here, because I am really excited to share this with a favorite family.

Before you take off, make sure you leave a comment for a chance to win a $10 gift card to Lori's amazing shop.

I love her files. In this project I used 10 different files that can be found in her shop, and better yet, they are all on sale this week, so head on over now and get all the shapes you have been drooling over on the hop.

The files include "Number Set 11-12" and "Number Set 1-10," "5 Bracket Shapes with Shadow" (Bag #1), "6 Bracket Labels" (bag #12), "Scalloped Squares,"(Bag #2, 7, and 12)  "Holly," "Christmas Bag Treat Topper,"(bags 4 and 8) "Banner" from the Silhouette store, (bags 3, 5, 6, 9 and 10) and "Treat Pocket" (Bag #11)

While you were hopping, did you go to Lori's site and grab your freebie?

Did you see all her new files. She has some beautiful word art files that were designed square so they will fit perfectly on a ceramic tile and can be given as gifts.
