Lori Whitlock Digital Scrapbook files

WELCOME. Instead of focusing on the diecut shapes I chose to do some digital scrapbook pages featuring Lori's files at Jessica Sprague. I have 3 different layouts to share with you. The first uses Lori's "Blossom Papers." I loved how the green made my daughter stand out in the layout.

Next is "Patriotic Picnic Collection" I love the variety of that kit.

And finally "Spring Celebrations" which was perfect for my daughter and her many smiles. I need to do a layout focusing on her smiles and pouts from age 2-13.

Thanks for coming to see Lori's wonderful digital kits. I personally LOVE them.
The colors are beautiful and go so well together.

Lori Whitlock Blog Hop Party

And the party continues. If you are following the blog hop you should have just come from Krissy's blog. Hope you are enjoying the party. For me Summertime means birthdays! 3 of them. My hubby and 2 of my boys will all celebrate in the next 30 days.  It is party central here, so it's only natural that when I made a birthday decoration.

I used Lori's "Build A Banner" set as well as "8 Labels" and Stars. The title was made from a font on my computer. I cut all the pieces, except the stars, from Echo Park's "Charming Collection" designed by Lori Whitlock. I cut the bracket shape from the text paper and chose random patterns from the collection for the banner pieces. The title is cut from the brown swirl. I added buttons, stars and lace to finish it off. Next on my list is the party.

Don't forget the freebie on Lori's site as well as the sale going on.

Thanks for joining us in our blog hop. Head on back to Lori's site and take advantage of her sale and freebie if you haven't already.

sneak peak

Fun things are coming...

Life After Graduation

After a mom goes to college and gets a degree (STILL waiting for it to arrive mind you) what comes next? Well for this mom, I went to work for a very good friend, Lori Whitlock. I am lucky that way. I get to be my friends assistant and work in the scrapbook, fabric, hobby and craft arena, which has been a lot of fun.  We have been friends for 8 years (I think) and now she is my boss, so I am never sure what to really call her when referencing her. One of my friends told her she looked too nice and pretty to be my boss. I agree because working with your friend is truly a lot like getting to play everyday I go to work. Some of my favorite products over there are her boxes and flowers. I have a list a mile long that I want to create, now to find the time. Lori has her own diecut shop on her website where she sells SVG files that are used with die cutting/vinyl machines. I update products and post design team projects and chat a bit with myself, kindof like I do here.

She also just launched a digital scrapbook shop at Jessica Sprague. I have been lucky enough to play with some of her new kits and can I just say, I am in LOVE with digital scrapbooking. SO MUCH EASIER and cleaner than scrapbooking with paper. I am worried I won't be able to go back. Here are a few of her kits at Jessica Sprague. The last 3 are masking templates to be used with the digital papers to create custom shapes.
