Lori has created these awesome card base and envelope sets. There are so many different uses for these cards. I can't wait to play with them some more. I used "Card Base and Envelope Set 2" and added happy birthday from the "Birthday Button Set." I still had some scraps left so I made up "Belly Band Cards." She has a star belly band, but I really liked the star inside the circle for this one, so I used the star from that set with the circle belly band card. These were so easy and fast to assemble that I don't mind giving them away or seeing my son throw it away afterwards. I still have a bunch of paper scraps left that I could make a few more to keep on hand instead of finishing up the morning of his birthday. I see myself making many more cards in the future, and for those of you that know me, know that is a huge surprise.

Lori Whitlock Design Team Project
Welcome to Birthday land. Last month we celebrated my hubby and sons birthday, today we are celebrating my other son's. I hope you aren't sick of birthday projects yet.
First I must express my love hate relationship with cards. I love to receive them, I hate to keep/store them, I hate to throw them away, and I hate to think my friends might throw them away because of all the time and work that goes into these beauties. That is until I started using Lori's card files. I needed a birthday card to go with my baby's present today and while uploading the "Birthday Button Set" on Tuesday, I knew what I was going to do.
